I am looking for a good wedding invitation program I would like to be able to print the invitations or email them or after desineing them email a copy to my mother in law so she could fill them out how ever she chose to send to her friends can any one help me find one?
I am going to my gramma’s for the summer and she is very big an etiquette. I am polite and i try very hard but always ending up be subjected to comments. When I eat I like to mix things like corn and mashed potatoes, My mother says it’s gross but thats how I like to eat some of my food. What do you guys think? Please no rude answers
So, I’m getting ideas together, Can you recall the nicest wedding you ever went to, how was the food? Decorations? Centerpieces? Cake? Overall theme? where at? I agree with you, what kind of food was it though, I want to make sure the food is fantastic
I am hosting an engagement brunch for my son and future daughter-in-law next wk. Problem is, her mother announced she has a conflict with the date and we should have asked her before scheduling…..when we definitely had conversations with her child and expected that they would chat as the plans were being made…..she’d like to change the time …which would also change the menu (to early dinner)….We tried to think of everything and this was not intentional. Second, since reading up on engagements on the web I am finding brides who do favors, flowers, centerpieces, registries, games, venues and even entertainment …..my thought was just to invite the closest family and wedding party attendents to brunch to get to know one another…I am not expecting gifts and only sent invites so that there would be no confusion about who, what, where and when…..am I keeping it simple or being cheap? what else is expected? would you make changes to time/date? make additions? cancel it?
There’s this girl I’ve known for a year and a half now. She knows I have feelings for her but she doesn’t know how I really feel about her since she still sees me as a friend. Next month a friend and I are going to have a dinner and wine party. So what should I do to impress her? She loves music and she’s a social butterfly. Thanks
My bride took forever to get me a list of guests for her bridal shower and she didn’t even have contacts for most of them so I ended up making a Facebook event with two of the other attendants for the parties. The invites were also late in going out because the printing schedule got wonky.
The shower is THIS Saturday and I only have 15 RSVPs out of about 30-35. Only 10 of them are positive, and five of the people attending are myself, the bridge, the two other attendants and her mother. Not as much fun and froo-la-la as I had hoped!
I have fun games and food planned – classic Alice in Wonderland themed. But I am afraid with a lack of guests this is going to go down the drain. What do I do?!? I have no way to get a hold of these people to know if they are coming or to beg them to be there!
She has a lot of guy friends and is considering inviting them – would that be so horrible? The bride is a bit of a flake and she was also moving this whole past month. She only just sent out her wedding invites as well, but she only had addresses and in her religious community, most of the guests hear by word of mouth. Kinda odd and a bit of the hassle for the bridal party but we do not really mind. We just want this to be SUPER special for her.
i know i’m only 5 months along and don’t plan on having my baby shower until the beginning of august, but i’m starting to think about my baby shower. My mom is throwing the shower for me at her house and we already have an idea on what food we want and the decorations, and the shower favors to give to guest (pink baby foot lollipops, and mint tins). We know we want to do the diaper raffle for people who bring diapers for the big door prize, measure my belly, baby word jumble, no crossing your legs or saying baby, and a candy bar word game (my mom found this one, but idk how to play it yet). What other games has anyone played at a baby shower that they liked? Also gift ideas for the winner of each game? We are thinking about doing 5 games (gift around $5 bucks or so), no crossing legs or saying baby for the whole shower (gift $10 bucks), name chosen in diaper raffle (gift $20 bucks). Any ideas?
I am throwing a Noah’s Ark/Animal type Baby Shower and need help in getting some ideas and opinions. I would like to have animal shaped ice cubes floating in the punch we will serve but have no idea where to buy those from. Any ideas?? Would like to get some ideas for favors that are inexpensive that would go with the theme. What about gifts for the guest when they win the games that we are going to be playing. I want some sort of gift to give the guest that would be part of the animal theme. Centerpiece ideas for the tables?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have plenty of time for the shower but like to buy early. Also one last thing….what types of food should we serve to be animal related?? I know this is a lot of questions to be asking but would like to get some answers/advice/help with this. Thanks a bunch in advance!!
